Common LMS like ILIAS, Moodle or OLAT have evolved into multi-functional platforms. They try to integrate all functions that are required for learning and teaching in one place.

If a more flexible approach is required IMS-LTI comes in handy. It allows to integrate independent web applications with a LMS. Students get a one-click access to the integrated web applications without having to sign-in again with yet another username and password.

In this webinar we will first explain what IMS-LTI is and then make a few demos to show the perspectives of the teacher and the students. We will then show how an LMS administrator can integrate IMS-LTI enabled tools into an LMS. Finally, we will outline what a programmer has to do, to add an IMS-LTI adapter to an existing web application.
