If the human being goes digital, ethics goes digital: Ethics at the human-machine interface

EPFL DH Research Seminar 2021/2022, Digital Humanities at EPFL

Emerging technologies such as brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) establish a direct connection pathway between humans and machines, i.e. between the biological and the digital world. This presentation will explore the ethical implications of BCIs and identify key societal challenges at the human-machine interface.

The DH Research Seminar is a series of talks organised by the Digital Humanities Institute of EPFL given by researchers from a wide range of backgrounds and aiming at presenting the vast array of subjects covered by Digital Humanities.
