Our new cloud service brokerage platform SWITCHhub aims at establishing a marketplace for cloud services with a strong focus on the Swiss higher education community.
Both commercial service providers and Swiss higher education institutions can put offers for their services into the marketplace. Swiss higher education institutions can find and buy licenses for services in the marketplace and use their own SWITCHhub web shop to provision licenses to their end users.
From the end user perspective, the SWITCHhub web shop of the institution provides a catalogue of services along with the ability to self-assign personal licenses and start using products immediately – just like in the cloud.
SWITCHhub enables Swiss higher education institutions to a) produce and provision more cloud services faster and more efficiently and b) offer their own services to other institutions by making them available in the cloud service marketplace of the Swiss higher education community.
In this webinar we will provide an overview of the platform and information about currently available services.
