Webinar presented by Hervé Platteaux, UNIFR, and Felix Seyfarth, UNISG, June 7, 2018

The SIG Video released a first version of a higher education video guide in December 2017.

The presentation of the video guide during the eduhub days 2018 in Lucerne was met with great interest. The document aggregates examples, good practices and provides links to numerous online resources in an attempt to answer two practical questions: What steps can I take to better define and scope my video project? What are good practices to produce quality video sequences with limited resources?

In this webinar we will present you the structure of the guide and the contents of the existing chapters. Furthermore, as the guide is a work in continuous progress, we would like to discuss with you possible additions for the next iteration, which should be released during the next eduhub days in February 2019. For a productive exchange, we base this webinar on a flipped classroom scenario: We are inviting participants to read the version 1 of the guide before the webinar. During the webinar we will gather and discuss your feedback for the upcoming version 2 of the guide. For those interested in contributing to the guide, we will discuss both editor roles for revisions and additions to content in version 1 as well as author roles for those who would like to create a new chapter for version 2.
